Develop innovative ideas for writing business news.
Research business stories and prepare interview questions as required.
Discuss and develop ideas to write strong and sophisticated stories to attract readers.
Research, write and submit stories within established timelines.
Follow money and economy trend to build up-to-date financial stories
Write breaking business news and stories in unique and interesting ways to increase readership.
Write real and accurate stories so as to avoid any libel cases.
To train and mentor junior reporters in writing interesting and unique stories.
Build and maintain strong relationship with news contacts.
Present business and financial data pictorially
Analyse data and public records of companies
Daily update stock market and bond pages
Report and write articles based on interviews
Establish and maintain close relationships with company executives
Write real and accurate stories so as to avoid any libel cases.
Train and mentor junior reporters in writing interesting stories.

Educational Requirements

Degree in any field or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

Substantial number of years of experience as a Business Reporter/Writer or a similar role

Additional Job Requirements

Passion for writing and creating interesting Business stories
Excellent analytical skills
A portfolio of published Business related articles
Strong knowledge of media processes
Excellent communication and research skills
Charismatic and magnetic personality
