Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Tech writer to join our media team! As a Reporter at our company, you will be responsible for delivering fresh and interesting ICT news to our audience.

Your responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Keep up with all the local and global happening in the tech world
Cover a wide variety of tech stories
Conduct and schedule interviews if need be
Track influencers' work
Plan, research, edit, and write tech related stories and articles for publication
Verify information provided by interviewees or other sources
Finalize news content
Keep up with deadlines as timeliness is extremely important
Follow news events and other media sources to stay informed
Write real and accurate stories so as to avoid any libel cases.
Train and mentor junior reporters in writing interesting stories.

Educational Requirements

Degree in any field or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

Substantial number of years of experience as a tech Reporter or a similar role

Additional Job Requirements

Passion for writing and creating interesting ICT stories
A portfolio of published ICT related articles
Strong knowledge of media processes
Excellent communication and research skills
Charismatic and magnetic personality
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Dedicated team player
Good time-management skills
