10 days , crossed through vietnam , cambodia and laos, a landmass large as that of nigeria. by help of trains, buses, bikes, pedicaps, my two feet and all sorts of other means....just to pull it through.

actually , there are not many photos in this thread, if any.

two of these three countries i dislike , vietnam and laos. the former narrow-minded and frenetically patriotic , the latter full of greedy lazy hillbillies.

ok, here we go.

landed in hanoi. this was its railway station.

inside the railway station, very few travelers.

no charge sockets for phones, wrong info on the LED board, rude staff.

trains parked at the tracks. i waiting for the long distance train heading directly to saigon, 1700km deep in the south. the train would cost me 3 days and 2 nights.

slow , because it was narrow gauge, left behind by the french, 60 years ago.

inside of the train. the berths. very few people . so , i owned a whole compartment to myself, after the vietnamese fellow guy who shared this one with me got off the train the next day.

corridor, very narrow. only suitable to vietnamese's small body shapes. everything in vietnam is little and small. i usually ordered 3 bowls of pho ( noodles ) to have my tummy full. as to vietnamese , a male and a female sometimes shared one bowl .

just wonder, how many days do they defecate ? nothing to purge.

my lunch . i felt ashamed to consume such a big wing (in the eyes of vietnamese). this wing could last a vietnamese family for 2 days or more. they ate very little.
