I'm sure the government purchased the jankara injunction.

The doctors should not attend to any patient untill their demands are fully met .

Let the crying governor and his family man the hospital. undecided
Suppose you are the patient, how will you feel? the two parties should resolve their differences because when the two elephants are fighting it the grass suffers the pain. Nigerian doctors are not treating well

The patients and the citizenry should direct their anger to the appropriate quarters .

Doctors have bills to pay . They have numerous dependants too.
And they deserve a good life as well and a good working conditions.
Is that too much to ask for huh

The resident doctors are students. If they are not interested in learning they can leave so we can get fresh intakes.

Afterall they also work very hard to sabotage other health workers strike action.

They are students, stop trying to deceive yourself. Residency is professional training.

you make me laugh, where will you get the fresh intakes? most fresh doctors are already on their way to UK etc, in our teaching hospital we don't even have residents again in some units, the senior ones too are just waiting to leave. we sent out 10 letters to doctors to resume in general surgery only 2 turned up...its getting really bad.

There are many jobless and underemployed physicians. Put up an advert for vacancy and see them swarm your office address.
Last month FMC Asaba called for interview, they were all over the place. Many of them.

Listen to Ngige.

Nonsense and court injunction!

Enugu state government should stop being silly! If they want to run a tertiary health institution, they should do it the proper way by putting in place all the facilities obtainable in a standard teaching hospital and also remunerate the doctors and healthcare workers accordingly.

They should stop running a glorified "chemist'' in the name of a teaching hospital! It's a shame! Anytime I go to that parklane, I shudder at the level of infrastructural decay and general decline in standards there. Yet, MDCN would not utilize their regulatory powers to withdraw the accreditation of that institution. They'll continue to churn out quacks as doctors to worsen the already battered image of healthcare delivery in the country.

Nonsensical nonsense!!!!

we placed ads as usual in national newspapers but only some turned up, even those ones who took the offers are only there to gather enough money to travel after a few months time, the truth is that nobody is willing to hang around again. forget Ngige... i agree with the FMC asaba, no be conmess FMC go take their salary? once they collect what they need, they go escape. most of those guys have already passed plab 1 but need money to go for plab 2 in uk which is capital intensive, go and see how those IELTS centres are full these days. the plab 1 centres in NIgeria are already fully booked till september sef.

The last place any medical doctor, pharmacist, dentist, nurse or any other healthcare professional should consider working is ESUTH (aka parklane). That place is run like some poorly managed private clinic! Run for your life!!

A supposedly teaching hospital that runs like a glorified chemist.
