Where were they when the place was a forest. Why is it that Ogun state families always want to be in contention with the church over land issue? This same issue happened with Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries Prayer City land. Please fear God for once.

The plaintiff will be disgraced. It's obvious that the plaintiffs are doing this to exploit the bishop oyedepo ministries...but I know the plan will fail.
Covenant University has become the best university in Africa. And has collected so many awards. Some hungry lawyers have decided conspired with the villagers just to milk the church of its financial resources. But they will fail and be disgraced. and peradventure the lawyers should be disrobed of their gown and wig.

When the land was acquired with all legal document between 1997 and 1999, where were the families? They long lavished the millions paid then and now resorted to gold-digging.

This is the same kind of attitude that has led Ota to be perpetually underdeveloped despite development close to them like their skin. Many multinationals of pharmaceuticals, education, manufacturing etc have exited the town due to her People’s greed, illiteracy, selfishness, backwardness and retrogressive thought lines. They squeeze, milk and extort these companies at the expense of the CRS meant for the development of their land.

Like Oyedepo or not, we know he is a man of due diligence and will not do anything outside the frame of legality, or that will tarnish his name or his Faith.

On the verge of me being petty, check the names of the families....a typical Ota phenomenon. I spent years in Ota growing up and we know these things

The Winners chapel and Bishop that I know will never settle in any form of bribe. They will pay whatever they deem normal to the families involved.

As for those that are saying "why did the church encroach other ppus land"? You need to buy a piece of land in OTA to know how terrible d "omo oniles" (land grabbers) are. I bought a land (legitimately) at a place called IJABA @ IYESI about 10 yrs ago. I had to pay thrice (3times) before I could build on it. They have different tactics to extort Innocent ppu. That's why d town (OTA) is still as local, undeveloped as it is.

Winners should get a valuation report stating that the land is worth 10 Million in total. Expert evidence is best countered by contrary expert evidence. If they keep using word of mouth to counter expert evidence, they would regret it.

I live around there and the highest cost per plot is 6-8M per plot.


They are thieves. Oyedepo must have paid all necessary money requested for the acquisition.

Wait wait wait someone should balance me real quick, Is it that the said land was acquired by CU without payment the time it was acquired, or is it that CU encroached on a parcel of land it didn't pay for ? Or is the family Just being greedy and wants CU to pay current market value for the land it sold off years ago at a price they felt is no longer appropriate to them ? Please someone explain, thank you.

The highest cost of land in that area is 8M per plot if it is facing the express iridoko road but they are demanding 18M per plot for land that is inner street. they are thieves...
