Charles Barkley purposely listed himself at 6'4" even though (and at age 55+) he is taller than 6'5" James Harden. Kevin Durant is 6'11" by all indications yet he admitted that he lied to the NBA that he was 6'9" just so he would not play center.

Second, eye test. According to Google and CFC website Giroud is taller than Tammy Abraham which is clearly not true.

The people I know who lie about billed heights and weights very well are WWE.
But that eye test may not be reliable unless you see both players standing still without boots, side by side.

I am an optometrist and I can tell you that sight is very easy to fool. Creating illusions isn't difficult. Abraham is lean and Giroud is bigger, so Abraham may look taller but it may not be so, etc....

There are websites were heights are constructively discussed. Some people even use personal pictures of themselves with some of these "celebs" to make an argument. There are myriads of pictures to cross-check with.

See Tammy here clearly taller than Rudiger and even Zouma (a case can be made).
