Nope! it's for people that have solar panels and use those to charge their batteries.

There are a no of reasons your battery could be misbehaving, from bad/cheap batteries, to a bad charging algorithm.

My money is on inferior batteries though.

So how do you conclude its inferior without seeing it. I bought that battery brand new.

please note, I didn't come to any conclusion, just a guess.

that guess is based on my experience with buying 3 different sets of batteries from nigeria that never made it up to one year

we now use lithium phosphates at home after having bad experiences with lead acids from nigeria.

so i'm just guessing that a combination of bad/inferior batteries plus a bad charging algorithm (like charging at too high a voltage or too low), plus imbalances may have killed those lead acids.

i can go on an on about lead acid batteries from naija, but, really it all depends on budget and how long you expect them to serve you.

I thought Lead acid batteries are for automobiles. I bought a deep cycle battery. So is that a lithium phosphate or lead acid battery.

Also I thought inverters come inbuilt with overcharge protection. At least the pure sine wave inverters cos that's what I have.

Please correct me where I'm wrong.
