I'm really kind of suprised anytime I see people hail Brad Traversy as the guy that made Web Dev possible for them. I always find the guy kind of tedious and not always explicit in his explanations.
The Net Ninja has been a real saviour to me. I plan on making a big donation to his patreon as soon as possible.
Back to Brad, you're the second person I know who mentioned he was the one you learnt HTML/CSS frontend from. What type of series of his videos will you say you gained the most from in front end? Would you say its the crash courses type videos or the hands on projects where he builds things like admin pages and so on?
Brad is very good. I use both Brad and NetNinja_uk Tutorials for training. sincerely speaking. Net Ninja is the baddest, but Brad Traverse is very good at motivating beginners. In all, Both are still the best instructors on YouTube and Udemy.

Maybe just my personal opinion. Actually my friend working at a high pressure startup said pretty much same thing too. He can not do an intro into any course with Brad unless NetNinja has explained it. Brad has the tendency to breeze pass some parts like he was teaching himself but the net ninja is absolutely magic. I really wonder how he has barely half of brads sub's on YouTube. Deserves a lot more. I recently discovered DevEd but seems the guy is a tad too playful for his own good

Bàbá, i know all these guys. Netninja is still for me. Mosh also is very good. Years back, it was Robert Bucky.
in fact, these guys made programming easy for us. There is also one guru like that too, can't remember his name from 365career.com, he's just like NetNinja. But, his own focus is on Data science.

@ejiod,so in all your quest to become a data scientist, no exam was written? No certifications was awarded?

Even in the US and other advanced countries most companies don’t give a hoot about your certification, it’s all about the problems u can solve.

Skill acquisition is not a function of exams and certificates but a function of applied knowledge in solving real world problems.

Kindly acquire IT certificate as much as you can. Forget all these BS they telling you.
In freelance world, you might not need a cert but in a corporate world, you need them.
When you go for interview, you present your Cert then prove the certifications.
That is why you submit resume and CV

I really don’t wanna respond to some questions here. However I will respond to getting certifications or not getting one.
To burst you guys bubble. None, I mean none in my journey of being a data scientist requested for certification. Yes it’s good to have but it won’t guarantee you solving the task required to get that offer. Talking of corporate organizations which I’ve worked with never asked what I graduated with or certifications. My advice to folks out there just practice day and night on data. Crunch dirty data, keep grinding that data till you are good at it.

PS.. I’m writing Certified Analytic Business Professional (CBAP) and PMP so they promote me to managerial level.

Please anyone can help me resolve this issue of installing ggplot2 on RStudio...

I use R version 3.6.3 which I believe is the latest version

I have tried installing with dependencies set to TRUE

I have scoured stackoverflow for answers but none have worked.

It keeps telling me these two errors

1 (as 'lib' is unspecified )... As seen on the top of the image

2. Installation of package ggplot2 had non zero exit status.

I'd appreciate it guys, anyone using RStudio who ever encountered this problem?

already started my journey into data science, prior before now I had a mentor(my cousin) who is a data scientist in Australia who talked extensively on data science and gave various tools necessary. So I brushed through excel by taking some course like analysing data using excel and other courses on Edx(videos) then currently learning sql using sql server express learnt basics using w3schools and sqlzoo which am done, practicing using ssms and sample database like(adventureworks and northwind) so refreshing. Also I have some PDFs book having questions and problem from beginner to advance on the sample database listed, once am done I will also take some courses on edX. Afterwards would move into python and other tools.

just wanted to share my journey for the past one month. thanks Ejiod and other contributors.

if you are also on this journey into the world of data science quote me, let's relate

Xup man trust you are doing well, I'm a backend software developer with over two years experience I have some basic experience with python and will like to move into data science, I will appreciate if you can let us relate kindly quote me with means to contact you or request for my contact, thanks

Awesome! When you are through with pandas and about entering machine learning pls install pandas_profiling. It will save you time on your explorative analysis

Some of you trying to construct a racing bar chart. Though Tableau is still working to perfect this. However you can try this site..
PowerBI is good at this though

Good day sir, as an aspiring data analyst I am almost done with learning excel and I am confused on what next to move on to.... Mysql or python?
Kindly advice me on the best programming language to start learning.
Thanks in advance.
