ceaser:I use this DC plug (first picture). Got them from AliExpress but it's available on Jiji for as low as N500 for a pack of 10 pieces. The second picture is also an option.

ojeysky:In my own case, if I can no longer stand those unusual peculiarities of his installed BMS, na to get better BMS with bells and whistles (to quote Niyiomolyunade ) and swap it in to the cells. But let me lay hands on the battery pack fess .I think I can manage a gamble with tweaks on 130k LFP battery. Besides LFP unlike Lead acid, will still be forgiving of some maltreatment ![]() I once came across an LFP BMS with in-built WiFi on AE. You can monitor the activity of every cell pack remotely. Will search for it again. |

eleojo23:@Topmost11, that second picture by eleojo23 will be perfect for you if you don't wanna go thru the hassles of soldering or twisting of wires together. It's plug-and-play. |

ceaser:I thought thermocool freezers r energy efficient....am sure that ur freezer can't consume more than 140w. Are there freezers out dir much more efficient than those thermocools considering size for size |

ceaser:Yes o... Fault 32 is the code it displays, support says replacement parts required but CoronaVirus never allow MPP send the replacement parts. |

This is why I am partial to products with local support available and also always keep a backup inverter on hand since I have severed my connection to the grid and have no generator assist. If I had to buy and import a GK like you did, I would buy + replacement boards and other components. ojeysky: |

NiyiOmoIyunade:Lesson learnt, had to get the badly cloned axpert called felicity brand and reconfigured my panels to 3s3p..... It's serving for now. Just that it has made my logging quite inaccurate due to the strange way felicity presents its output. |

ojeysky:What's the mppt max power? Can it accommodate your panels? Or do you have a separate CC. I'm using same axpert 3kva and mine is 600w although I connected my panels to fangpusun mppt charge controller |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojeysky(m): 1:50pm On Mar 13, 2020 |
Namzy:Mine is rated max 1500w so no, it doesn't accommodate my panel but I get the max out of it which is 60A (peaks at about 1.7kw) |

Peterlove11:The Thermocool freezer I intend to sell has been worked on by a technician and since then the consumption has shot up to around 180watts. I've since gotten a replacement Thermocool also, 209 litres that consumes 110 watts continuous, 520 watts surge. Someone has advertised Hisense freezer to me that it has much more efficient and power saving inverter compressor, much better than Thermocool size for size, volume for volume - and I think I saw something like that written on the sticker of the Hisense freezer sample I saw with the vendor. I'm planning to get one soon but not before trying it out with a wattmeter. |

eleojo23:I ordered for a solar submersible about a week ago only for the yèyé seller to mail me after 3 days giving a foolish excuse of not being able to ship to my country. Then asking me to request for refund by selecting "other reasons". Me I just ignore the guy. Let AE arbitrate on their own and penalize him for not shipping on time. Besides with this dollar-naira jagajaga increasing, I wont mind a little delay so that by the time I will be refunded, it will be at the prevailing dollar exchange rate - that means some more profit for me ![]() |

Valto:OP, says freezer, those units, you are recommending are fridges....and even worse, they are frost free fridges, they usually dont retain low temps for long, once power goes. am yet to see a true inverter freezer... shit freezers full market, a brandnew Lg freezer i bought, where i was searching for low wattage...the yeye thing doesnt chill well...never ever buying an LG or related freezer again, Thermoccool all the way...the extra 30w or so in consumption wont kill me ![]() how far with the remote wall and ceiling fan prices from alaba? |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Peterlove11: 4:37pm On Mar 13, 2020 |
earthrealm:I hope not all LG freezers doesn't chill well....I bought one recently lg gcs215svf, experienced the same thing, only top cooling. For more than a week, the thing refused to freeze my food. I started to think maybe it's a deep fridge(not freezer). V returned it, they say another one will be ready for pickup next week Wednesday. M becoming sceptical now. M hoping d New one work well |

Peterlove11:omo, that would be my first and last experience buying an LG freezer!!! worst are those units with internal condenser, abi evaporator....i returned it to LG, they tried repairing it under waranty, i took it home...3 days later sh,it doesnt chill again...........took it back again it stayed months with them...picked it up again...fairly better, but i knew issue wasnt solved, inspite of the claims of the LG people...cos mine only develops frost on the lower half ((classic symptom of low refrigrant/leaking refrigrant)))..the cooling has gradually reduced over time..till now..it chills like a water dispenser...only manages to keep food if there is phcn, and gets warm quickly as soon as phcn goes. i regret ever going near an LG Freezer, should have stuck to my tried and tested haier thermoccol, the extra 30w consumption iosnt that bad i also returned a samsung freezer for same issue, ..b4 i settled on the LG. I would advise anyone who intends to buy freezer...to simply go to the shop..allow them run the freezer for 1hr plus...come back and chk the freezer...and ensure its chilling the whole top to bottom, dont buy any useless stories the sellers will spin, waranty ko, waranty ni.... |
