Bros, even in EPL, they continue from where they stopped, they don't start afresh. I've seen it live in EPL. Tottenham against Fulham (I think) in around 2012 or 2013.
Tottenham player, Fabrice Muamba, collapsed on the field on the 30+ min. Because of that, the match was postponed, when they finally replayed the match, it started on the 30+ min they initially stopped. They didn't start afresh.
A40 is right
It was Spurs v Bolton Wanderers and muamba never played for Tottenham

It was actually an Fa cup match not even Epl. The previous score of 1:1 was scrapped and the game started afresh. He doesn't even know what he's talking about.

Where did you get these bolded below from?

Can you provide evidence for these claims?
Mr Timi of Okikipupa,

The first bolded statement is clear enough.

The second bolded statement, with the way test kits has developed, from using 4 days to get test results to 2 days to 8 hours to 4 hours, some countries have 1 hour testing capacity, South Korea has drive through testing and the likes. What this mean is that we have had improved testing capacity since the virus first case was confirmed.

Looking at trend and all we have been hearing is how to contain the spread of the virus or avoid it and no progress report on vaccine/cure, it’s kind of suspicious to me.

The opening statement for that post is clear enough for you to understand the rest of the post.

Bro do your research. It was an Fa cup fixture not Epl and the previous match plus result was scrapped. Tottenham won the rescheduled fixture 3:1 and it was full 90mins.

Please provide links and/or screenshots from reliable source to back up this your news.

Remember the way you attacked my personal opinion with screenshots and links? Please do that now in this case.

I posted this...

timbros:
I have this feeling that this virus is spreading undetected here in Naija.

How many of those passengers in the plane with the Italian have been tracked and tested?

Right now people could be coughing and sneezing (coronavirus symptoms) and still going about their daily activities attributing the sneeze and cough to dust in the environment.
The first paragraph CLEARLY tells you it's a personal opinion.

But no, Mr Larride, the Mr Intelligent of Nairaland replied me with this...

larride:
Are you following the updates from the NCDC, FMmoH, LSMOH?

Better to get information on what the authorities are doing to contain this virus instead of spreading unnecessary panic.
And later, this....

larride:
Just imagine na.

NCDC, FMoH, LSMOH have all been giving updates since the first case was confirmed. Contact tracing has been going on since then, Just last week 22 other suspected case was tested and the result was negative. Over 200 people are currently under close supervision. Even the second confirmed case was from one of the contact of the index patient but one Timi from Okitiputa wants to teach health experts how to do their job.
The health experts you claim I want to teach them their jobs are the same people you are accusing of...

larride:
...prolly want the virus to wreck enough havoc so they can cashout big when they release the vaccine...
Mr Intelligent, if I was spreading unnecessary panic, what is it you are spreading here with this assertion?

Many sensible defenders had backed off like that and averted tragedies that befell Boathand, and hailed for not foolishly jumping at an attacker.

Morata did it against your team and they foolishly charged at him, it ended in tears and tearing of your net. grin
Lol story man. So why are we not hailing your hero? Why are we dragging him like tiger generator.

But I don't see Morata as a rubbish striker. You do. Yet your hero ran from him cowardly and it led to his team's elimination. This is what they call double wahala for dead body. I know you have not recovered from the disappointment

You are really strong headed. I am telling you that FIFA don't have a distinct rule about abandoned matches that it's left to the organizers (Epl,la liga, Uefa etc) to decide what to do.
All this long argument because you don't want to simply agree you were wrong ab initio. You claimed scores revert to nil nil

Since we have established that's not the case so why are you still arguing.

Did I tell you there was or there was no distinct rule? This I must be right by all means syndrome is a real problem

if care is not taken, life long enmity will be created between teams, depending on how the voting goes.

Liverpool, especially, will never forgive teams who will vote for the league to be void.

For me, fairness should be considered. There is no team in Liverpool's shoes that will want the season to be void.

They should do to others what they would like others to do to them.
I think they will finish the league behind closed doors worst case scenario. It's unlikely it will come down to a vote.

Corona is not a death sentence and people are making recoveries.

It's wickedness to suggest a team that is leading the league with 25points and 9 games to play be denied of their title. It would be understandable if it were a close title race but we're talking about 25pts gap here

How can sports continue when the virus is yet to have a vaccine nor a cure.

Is it that anytime any member of the team or staff shows symptoms or cases the virus the whole team isolates. Won't that cause a start and stop. They should just conclude the league(s) now instead of starting again and then suddenly stopping. Except they find a way to prevent staffs and team members from contacting the virus.

Also wondering how they would handle the transfer market if they choose to continue the matches/ games into the summer. Will free players be obligated to play, will someone like Ziyech still join us July 1st.

The players would have stopped training for 3 weeks at least, will they let them have like a form of preseason camp for tactics and conditioning? Or just bundle them on the field
