I understand you perfectly. And thats what i mean. Discard/eliminate the adapter. I was just showing the adapter. Connect 12vdc to 220 vac adapter? Lol So now i can use my decoder without inverter. Why didnt i buy dc tv the time i bought my tv? Any way i can adapt my tv too? There should be a way the decoder can be connected to my laptop to perform tv function. I cant afford buying a dc tv now ceaser: |

Topmost11:It would have been possible to use an RCA to VGA converter or RCA to HDMI converter but unfortunatley, the VGA and HDMI port on most laptops are output-only meaning that you can't use the laptop as a monitor. |

Topmost11:Shopping on AliExpress is a gamble right now due to the Corona thingy. I suggest you contact one of these sellers on Jiji. Type "DC plug" in the search bar. If you still want to use AliExpress, type the same in the search bar. I can't post links for now because I'm on parole from the last antispam bot sentence. I don't want to go back to NL jail. ![]() |

eleojo23:I already bought some dc plugs for my fan so I will check if mouth is same and use one of them for the decoder. I will have to scrimp and get a small dc tv. Iv been off grid for 11 months now due to spoilt transformer so i am trying all avenues to minimize consumption before i upgrade my system |

.. This isn't the 1st site we're experiencing this as most don't really know plasma tv are energy guzzlers .. We see some clients who don't believe in just changing a working electronic and that's partly a major challenge we do face sometimes in renewable energy quotes & installation. Later some will say 2 battery system didn't last long with just TV on .. It's well !!
