One thing you people in diaspora should understand is that Nigeria (of Africa in general) is better at Disease control management. We even have more experience seeing as in the space of 6 years we have battled 2 disease outbreak (Ebola and Lassa Fever).

We are definitely getting better. We haven’t had a case of Polio since 2016. By August this year, it will make it 4yrs that we have been polio free. Though malaria seems to be one disease we keep battling with, it’s evident that we are getting better at this disease control.

What the government needs to work on now is putting health infrastructure in place and make healthcare available. NHIS must work for all.
