This is an unconfirmed report. Popular news outlets didn't report this. I don't think Iranian Generals would be so foolish to go to Iraq this time, they have all it takes to coordinate their shia allies from Iran. America fell for the bait by launching a counter strike on those rebels there will be more pressure on America to pull its troops out of the country.

US deployed 326, 863 soldiers duringthe korean war. Allied with several other countries, they lost.

Vietnam war over 2.7 million deployed, they were disgraced and chased out.
