You say 15k, then 5-15k. Which is it? Because you're paying for experience and expertise not necessarily chapter size.

Some jobs require you to do just a section in the chapter.

For instance, you can do only background of the study, or theoretical review and get paid for that.

Or, you can do a complete chapter and get paid for that too.

Everything depends on the situation. I hope the clarification is now clear?
