*8 Things to watch out for when buying a car in Nigeria*

1) Ask if the car is registered, foreign used or brand new.
This will helps to determine the price range of a car, e.g
a registered car is twice cheaper than a Foriegn used car. Like wise a brand new car is more expensive.

2) Request for the mileage and vin number.
The mileage will help you to determine the distance covered by the car, while the vin nos will show you the the life story of the car, usage, service history and also if it was stolen from a foriegn country. You can confirm this on line using the vin number. Google a vin check site and run it yourself.

3) Run a verification test on the registration number, if registered. Most times this will display the owners identity and phone number.

4) confirm the authenticity of the car documents and custom papers and make sure they are original. Custom number can also be verified by copying the C- nos of the document and sent to the Nigerian customs. It will only cost you about #3k. But will save U a whole lot from the danger of buying a contraband product.

Brand new cars usually comes with a delivery note and receipt from the company it was bought from, a few companies in Nigeria deal on brand new cars only.

5) let Ur mechanic check and test drive the car. Ofcourse some of you are specialist and can do it urself.

6) before making payment choose a convenient place or bank and mostly confirm that all documents are intact and available.

7) U can choose to make a brief phone video of both the buyer and the seller with a brief chat on the just concluded transaction.

cool collect your car key.

For Ur automobile solutions. Feel free to contact us.

Thanks

This applies to all cars. Pls note that only cars bought brand new do not have custom papers.

From experience, any car you buy for 500k you will still have to spend some money to bring it to shape.

His workshop is in VI, just behind Silver Fox, Oniru. I strongly Recommend Niyi for his professionalism, integrity and capacity.
