I'm tired of wailers. On one thread, many said why hasn't the fuel price been reduced. The Keliam is clueless and wants to loot, so he wouldn't reduce the price .

Now, just look at the comment of the guy above.

And here we go. An opposing opinion from same wailers.

These people have no sense.

The government should not reduce the petrol price. Instead it should keep the unexpected profits and channel it into any of the critical areas like power, health, education or the fight against Boko Haram.

Why is this APC government so useless ?
Channel ke?
Are you new in this country?
They will simply steal the unexpected profits grin

What is the co-relation between the reduction in price of petrol and crash in the price of crude? i thought the price of petrol ought to rise as a result of the crash in crude.

It is not their business to set prices.

These crooks are addicted to stealing, that is why the subsidy mechanism is in place.

Petrol is a commodity. The market should determine the price.

Bad news really.

Good news would be the government no longer controlling fuel prices, and allowing the marketers to set the price, so that investment flows in which means more refineries, more savings for government, no more smuggling, and crucially more jobs and lower prices below N100 per liter long term.

Subsidy has to go. The fact that government is setting the price means there is a subsidy.

this is still nothing. UK have set aside £330 billion pounds as palliative for its citizens. while the US plans to pay $1000 dollars every fortnight to those that are cash strapped as a result of the virus. some nations have suspended tax and other things to make life easier for her citizenry. we can do better
