*The National Identity Management Commission has comfirmed that several National identity cards for those who enrolled in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 are ready for collection but most enrollers have not shown up to pick up their National ID cards.*


*For those who have not collected their plastic as from 2012, 2013,2014,2015 should please check the nearest state headquarters of national identity card enrollment centers if they have not receive SMS reason of not receiving SMS is due to Network issues.


*But best alternative method is to check online through National Identity Card Status checker website from their various mobile devices.

*More importantly for 7 years you have not gotten your plastic ID card, do well to visit the state headquarters for collection.

*According to NIMC spokenmen Ogbonna said that those people in question should visit the enrolment centres where they registered and pick up their cards, which had since been printed and ready for collection.

*He added that some of the people in this category may have changed the phone numbers they used to register, some have even relocated to another address input during enrollment hence they are not able to receive text messages informing them that their cards are ready.

*He confirmed that it stands He survey showed that over 700,000 enrolled applicants nationwide were yet to pick up their National e-ID cards.

I did mine in 2014. I haven't collected mine but I intend going to check anytime I am free this week or next.

I went there around December to check and I was told not ready yet.

It won't just be funny going there and be told not ready again.

I did mine 2014 but it hasn't been ready despite checking on the NIMC website regularly
