Over the last weeks have been trying to understand the stand of the government over early and reluctant boarder closure on rice and late response to boarder closure to prevent coronavirus.

The big question is why would the government delay the boarder closure knowing how unprepared and congested the country ishuh

While some is of the opinion that the government intentionally left the boarder open for the virus some are of the opinion that there are other reasons.

Please the elite in the house, help do justice.

Even at that shouldn't the government have deviced a more pragmatic approach to the coronavirus....

What happens to agencies set up for this kind of situation. There are agencies that yearly get allocation from the Federation account to manage disasters like this...what have they been using the fund for?

As a nation is it not the right time for us to stop the blame game and reasonably start to analyze issues as it affect us?

Exactly my point....we usually allow things to degenerate in this country with sure assurance that there will be foreign aid and donations. But right now sorry is the case...but at that what happens to funds that are directly deducted for emergency situation like this directly from the Federation account even before state and LG gets their money

We no get beds, we no get respiratory machines, we no get test centers in almost all the states, we no get ventilation facilities, Dr to patients ratio is 1:1000 etc. Wetin a reasonable government go do is to lock airport ASAP, at the junction the only feasible thing to do is to prevent and try not to allow it enter the country, but bubu no agree they open airport for people in affected areas to they enter. Try check am with sense, if your family member carry am and people plenty how them fit take care of them. You no see hospitals way we get, even on a normal day hospital no they contain not to talk of pandemics for this country

Is it the Government that is confused or the populace. Come to think of this, what is the fraction of the government compared to the general population

Policy direction is the duty of government.

Its expected of them to take measures to protect their citizens.

Our own goofed.

Now it's left for us to struggle.

The federal government led by Buhari left the borders open because they wanted the virus to enter into the country.

Why? Because they see every situation as a money making opportunity.

There are people in the government that will benefit from this.

Foreign organizations will also send aids which will go to the wrong pockets.
