That he or she is not on social media doesn't mean they are keeping quiet. There are thousands of others around the world who also have it but they are not on social media broadcasting it; being a celebrity doesn't make the person in question any different from these other people. Announcing it online is a choice and if the celebrity doesn't feel like it, fine.

What you've failed to realise is that the person is already going through a lot of emotional turmoil at this point and it's up to him or her to figure how best to stay sane. If avoiding the public eye does it for him/her, I see no reason to bash him/her.
