Firstly, their mistake was jumping into WW2 right out of WW1. They should have gone Modern after BF1.

Secondly, EA rushed DICE into releasing a game that wasn't ready for launch and since then, it's been one update after another to fix an already broken game. And some of those updates even break the game further.

BF4 and BF1 used to have 4 new maps and tons of content with every DLC release. Now in BFV, na like 2 maps and few content per DLC. Because most of the time, the Devs are busy fixing one bug or patching one glitch. Feels like they are spending more time fixing the game than actually creating content. To prove my point, Al Sundan map that they were supposed to release with chapter 4(or was it 5) took like a month later for it to drop because the map wasn't conpatible with the base game.

Sure having female fighters in WW2 is kind of odd, but personally i dont see the problem. There were female resistance fighters in Poland fighting against the Germans. It's just a game. Modern Warfare has female characters and the world no end.

EA is steady killing their games. And if CoD keep releasing great content like Blackout and Warzone, i might consider shifting back to CoD. I just wish CoD wasn't a yearly release like BF.

Tbh, there are a lot of things they could have removed from Warzone to drop the game size.

Far Cry 5 visually looks better than Modern Warfare, yet it's smaller.
Modern Warfare's RTX graphics looks like crap when compared to BFV or even Metro Last Light and yet, both games are smaller than Warzone and Modern Warfare.

I agree, COD could do better if they wanna do it every year. We all know they have the capacity to. But, unless one would wanna create an FPS abomination like Hardline. It would have to be about shooting people and war.

I dont think DICE ever claimed the game was historically accurate. It's the fans that wanted an historically accurate game thereby saying that women shouldn't be game.
But like i said before, i dont mind who they put in the game coz we are supposed to play and enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately the game isn't something you can play and enjoy.

Part of the reason why BF4 was successful was because the game had like a 3 year life span with lots of content. They even released CTE where regular gamers could help test upcoming DLC releases of the game.

I read from one guy on twitter who said the major thing that contributes to the game being that big are the sound files. And if you've played the game or watched clips, you'll start seeing the truth in that.

There's a lot of unnecessary noise and voice-overs that they could have removed from the game.

I agree bruh... spacing games would be far better cuz, then people will miss it, time to think well and gather feedback etc. So, that i can even focus in one damnit.
With every new release of a game from a company the previous ones suffer. "New is always better" for some reason. And when its that close its even worse.
That's why there will never be a GTA release that does bad as far as profit and content go.

My brother, this is very wrong. EA can't even think of throwing FIFA away for BF. That is their cash cow. UT makes billions for them on a steady (even if the game sucks). In fact, FIFA is their highest grossing franchise.
