The Ogun State Government has recognised the young doctor that initially attended to the Italian who had the index case of coronavirus in Nigeria.

Dr Amarachukwu Karen Allison is a young doctor at the Lafarge Clinic in Ewekoro, Ogun State. She attended to the Italian consultant to Lafarge and suspected that he had the virus. She subsequently alerted the health authorities who had the man tested and moved him to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Lagos.

Good and well trained Nigerian.

Another female did us proud. Reminiscent of the Patrick Sawyer's Ebola period.

She's Nigerian.

Remember the other woman who saved us from ebola, though at the expense of her own life ?
