hey all..how did you survive when u relocated to a new state ?

The guarantor is just someone the landlord could talk to in case of emergency or default.Most married men seeking accommodation are not required to bring guarantors.Also if you could get a good agent through referral he could do all the paper work for you.As long as you are a good guy,I don't think the guarantor is necessary.

hey all..how did you survive when u relocated to a new state without any family ,friend nor accomodation...currently searching for job and every is insisting i get a guarantor....pls how did u bypass the guarantor phase?

God was just faithful. He will make someone you don't know stand as a gusrantor

Through church/mosque, friends referrals, etc
When u relocate to a new place, either get acquainted with neighbors, or make yourself useful in a Bible believing church if you are a Christian.
Use your talent to fill a gap in someone's life I.e helping to drop kids in school,...... etc
A lot of sacrifice is required to pave way for yourself.

This is not really true sir. I went to Apapa two weeks back without knowing anyone but Apapa is my only choice of area because of my passion for international business. As a Muslim I went to close by mosque at wharf area as a place where I thought that they would welcome me in the spirit of brotherhood coupled with the fact there were other people occupying the place but the Imam told me he couldn't allow anyone without guarantor to stay, I was disappointed.


I'm still ready to go there if I have anyone to help out though.
