This is a bank. Go check what GTB is subjecting customers and their staffs to. It is insane. Banking hall is no different from market square. It is shameful. Port Harcourt GTB branches as a case study...wouldn't know if GTB Management has enough empathy for their staffs and customers in other places aside PH, in such a time as this when social distancing becomes an household name. Sometimes we wonder if we Nigerians are not less human. Where is humanity again?! |

Hmmmm. Banks and maneuverings, though this is still commendable but I think the other staff left in the branches are more susceptible to Corona virus than the marketing staff who are required to work from home.Because they interface with more customers than marketers. But kudos to to banks that see to their employees welfare sha...... |

Leezah: Of course not. From what economic activities. Even enterprises with large cash reserves will rather layoff disposable staff simply because in a pandemic regime NOBODY KNOWS WHEN THE SITUATION WILL NORMALISE. Hubei, China began to lift restrictions and open up businesses gradually after two months in lockdown and boom, new infections that were zero for about a week suddenly erupted. No one knows when this thing will end. No one will know whether his personal savings or corporate reserves can outlast the pandemic except you work in goverment, an organisation that can endlessly and shamelessly borrow till eternity to pay salaries and dodgy benefits. |

Re: Coronavirus: Stanbic IBTC Bank To Operate Skeletal Services by Tomjazzy2: 2:46pm On Mar 24, 2020 |
CokeBar: I hardly have access to my account via their mobile app, especially from Fridays till Sunday. When I do get access, 99% of the time, transactions doesn't go through. |
Re: Coronavirus: Stanbic IBTC Bank To Operate Skeletal Services by CokeBar(f): 2:51pm On Mar 24, 2020 |
Tomjazzy2: You should call your account officer or go to the bank or reinstall the app and maybe try logging in with fingerprint. For me, downtimes are rare. I use it for all my transactions, although, it's always healthy to have other alternatives. 1 Like |

You should be doing that anyway. I do wonder why so many of you feel the need to go in branch to do things that can be done just as well online. |
Re: Coronavirus: Stanbic IBTC Bank To Operate Skeletal Services by Tomjazzy2: 3:10pm On Mar 24, 2020 |
CokeBar: There was this period that I'd call them almost every Monday, because of one pending transaction or another. I stopped calling when I noticed the pattern. I would have abandoned the account completely, but for my salaries. |
