The ancient philosophers were all Occultists.
They were atheists.
Only that there are different categories of Atheism.
Those who do not believe in the existence of God and don't care.
Those who don't care about the existence of God.
Those who doubt the existence of God.

These three categories are all Atheists.
Now the last category is mainly where the philosophers belonged to.
They sought to discover and prove the existence of God, whether it exist or not, whether it is this same God everybody worships. Whether it is the Christian God or not.

What's with the all noice of science being faithful believers. Anyone can be a scientist, atheist, Christians, Muslim, Jewish, any single person can be a scientist. it wasn't written anywhere that only Christians are scientist.

This covid 19 is not as fatal as media is portraying it to be. The hysteria is much. When there is this much pandemonium and fear, it will be hard for us to approach it sensibly and adequately.
Let's just maintain the advice from the medics. Maintain social distance as much as possible, avoid contacts, sanitize your hands and belongings, wash hands with soap and running water, avoid touching the face, wear masks outdoors if u have, and eat well, fruits and vegetables, to build the immune system.

The gravity of an infectious disease is based largely on two things.

1. The fatality rate - This is the percentage of people who die from illness after being infected despite receiving standard care. The fatality rate of COVID-19 is about 3%. But the disease is still evolving and we know little about the longterm survival of the survivors given there could be complications like lung fibrosis.
To add to that, Nigeria's healthcare sector is light years behind the standard of care. And our fatality rate could be as worse as 50%.

2. Basic reproduction number - This a number that roughly determine the transmission rate of the disease. It is the average number of secondary infections produced by a typical case of an infection in a population where everyone is susceptible. The basic reproduction number from studies in China put COVID-19 as between 2-3.1. Meaning that at least 2-3 people will be infected by someone who gets infected. If you know a little mathematics you'll know that is scary. Because by the 10th level of infection we could have about 2^10 - 3^10 (1024 - 59,049) people infected. And that number will keep rising exponentially with each level until a cure or vaccine can be found. It doesn't help that Nigeria is scientifically and educationally defunct, go to the Universities and see people doing doctoral programmes and you realize we can only get vaccines as an aid from WHO and the rest of the world.

If in the light of the above you think Coronavirus is being overplayed, then your case is irredeemable.
