don't bring skyscraper issue as excuses, the main reason why many nations don't build skyscrapers is because of height restrictions law in there country, at the same time, skyscrapers are too expensive to set up and it greatly contributes to the aesthetic condition of a city. Take a look of the most developed city in Africa, what really makes it so iconic? Yeah, there are cities which can strive well even without skyscrapers but that should Mean a lot, right from road quality to iconic low rise.
There is height restriction in Lagos too.

yeah, lot of height restriction in different part of Lagos.

U can't build above 25floors or 100m in Ikoyi, for example. Height restriction was effected in Lagos in d early 2000s.

Only Marina have buildings above 100m cos that area was developed before d height restriction law. But Eko atlantic is having taller structures cos its higher above sea level than Lagos city.

What's the future of Nigeria's oil dependant economy now that the oil is 20usd ....
What's the future of Kenya's tourism and tea dependent economy now that the world economy is on lockdown and locust have made a colony in East Africa ?

recession
We have never entered recession due to falling oil price... If we enter a recession now,it will be because of the global economic meltdown that's looming...

I think u should worry about your country .. u are already in recession and preparing for a total lockdown... Maybe as a Boer,u don't really care, but think of the poor blacks like Ahmotepezuid(or whatever)... Can they withstand it?
Does ur government have some financial relieve packages for them ?

That would be auctioning off the last few native owned remnants of there countries assets along with begging the IMF and China.
There going to basically completely sell off the rest of there state.

That is what you should have said from the bigining, even if you are in number 10 there is no west african mall bigger than it

I never said you had to be wealthy to enter a mall stop arguing an nonexistent point. I'm referring to how the average Nairobian is impoverished and how they wouldn't be able to afford 95% of the products in there . I've been to Nairobi, Kenya and have first hand experience. Almost all the malls are owned by Israelis, British etc while most of the head staff are local Indians with more than half of the shoppers being expats and tourists. Why are people this stupid?
These are total rubbish, how can all these malls be built because of tourist and who told you the prices at the mall are higher than other places.....these tells how you don't even have a clue about malls in Kenya

Nigerias economy is expected to shrink this year, while this year will be the worst year for Kenya but still much better than the best year for Nigeria....Kenyas economy will grow by atleast over 3%....Nigeria will be negative

Negative according to who?

Please b**ch ...it's been 3 months already...the whole world is going to be hit hard economically...if we haven't slip into recession after 3 months of the virus epidemic worldwide,I think we can survive a few months more...
And like I said,Nigeria has never slipped into recession due to fall in oil price.... But u see that tourism and tea sector of yours will suffer greatly... And with the locust wrecking more havoc, you'd be deluded to think that Kenya's economy will fare better than ours during this period...

OHHH FK OFF!

Those kids were enslaved after their parents were killed , murdered by Boers during their endless genocidal land grabs! This is just one episode -imagine how many times this was repeated throughout Southern Africa.
Truly it was said the worst fool is an educated fool. I told you to read the fcvking book!
Look boy, I ain't going to be taught history by someone who believes in reptillians, black Nazis and unicorns.... So you can take your book, which I know you also haven't read, turn it sideways and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

If you read your own source properly, you would've read that the fighting didn't happen because of Boer land Grabs but because of conflict between Tonga and Venda , the Boers fought with the Venda people against the Tongas to end the conflict.

Next time read your own source properly before making rubbish comments wink

-"Low oil prices and falling output in 2016 underwrote Nigeria’s economic recession in 2016" https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theafricareport.com/18211/nigeria-could-be-heading-towards-its-second-recession-in-three-years/amp/

At least our economy is diversified and developed enough to withstand and recover quickly after the events of covid19.

Several relief packages have been put in place by the Government for the lockdown period, including a debt relief fund, tax relief packages for individuals , solidarity fund for SMEs and other financial aid for individuals.

The oil price is currently under $30..... That's insanely low.... The oil price alone is enough to cause recession In Nigeria, now combine that with the economic impact with covid19 and the fact that your poverty rate is over 50%,then you have the perfect storm for a recession!!

Kenya is east africa giant, regardless what Tanzania may think of feel. Ethiopia is progressing well may some day it may surpass it

Ghana is still smaller. Egypt is far third.

Nigeria may have revenue issues due to low oil prices and weak demand it may slip back further down

At the presence of Kenya, everything in Ghana is tiny and the only thing bigger in Nigeria is just their redundant population
