You would probably have more expertise on these, I would have otherwise thought that brokers whom reflected that move operate on direct liquidity with their financial houses and how could it be just coincidence that price reversed from a perfect EW impulse point?
Gold was meant to have reversed from 1636 [it actually did from 1638] to 1500 for an impulse leg and then head back up to 1700 and upwards of 1900. But that should have taken around 3/4 weeks not 1min, lol.

On the contrary, it suggests they are operating a liquidity pool that is not big enough and separate from some of the biggest liquidity providers. Especially the European ones.

About the reversal point, one thing I have learnt is there will always be justification for any reversal. Could be that the fat finger that triggered that move in their pool was targeting the same level. We'll never know. But hey, that's why technical analysis works. What you are seeing, so many others are also seeing it.. So, self-fulfilling prophecy.

I said I would wait for my entry point because most times when price approaches 2 TL it breaks the first one and you feel it's a break out and start selling then it bounces off the second one, which happened here.
Once it breaks back that first trendline to the upside, I have confidence in the trade and would move to BE after like chicken change 60/70 pips profits �

The recent sell-off in USD/CAD continues, but at a slower pace, ahead of the first key data print out of the US, the weekly initial jobless claims release.

My expectations for USDCAD continue to be met.
We are not done here.

It still has more downside to it.
And here seems a good place for more entries.

Yeah... Got more reasons to dump trendlines entirely this week..

Apart from the fact that my friend, who is way better than I am, also told me he stopped using them.

By the way, nothing wrong with trendlines.

Beginning to look like it's going to retrace before further drop..

Here, was correct on EURUSD. Just ignore the trendline. Entirely useless in my model. Retraced and hit the target area which I always outline in purple.

Now I am cautiously looking for sells... Because EURUSD has one way to go moving forward. That's DOWN! I am not jumping to sell. The buy momentum is quite much. Will wait for clear signals.

This is structured to the upside but I anticipated the down move. Which we are seeing materialise. Taking the sell would have brought in a significant amount of gains.

On more detailed analysis of this.. I should be able to come up with an area to look for buys.

Remember Eurusd and Usdchf.. Typically.. Inverse correlation.. And we can take a look at both to make inferences.

Weekly.. Some reaction at resistance. Couldn't go to the left. But the upper green line is resistance. And a very important level.
And purple line is the nearest key level.

Daily.. Bearish price action at resistance.

One hour setup to take advantage of this opportunity.

Conservative entry is to wait for the low on the one hour timeframe to be broken. And then short on retest of the broken support.

This bias was accurate. One of the ones I had issues with timing entries. And it's not hard to see why.. By the time one takes a look at the charts. I still think we will see the purple line before we continue up.

Very probable.

One hour timeframe.. To take advantage...
The green line was subtly readjusted.
And it now corresponds to 61.8% Fibo level.
That's where I ideally want to short.

However, it may not reach there.. Break of that low gives an opportunity for a short to my target area.

Price did retrace to the 61.8 area and even traded above it. And we saw it turn, some distance above the level.

I still expect more downside move. Especially if EURUSD begins to drop.
