Smh. Loan for what? When a total lockdown is imminent. Govt is suppose to assume d responsibily of payin the salaries of workers working with many private organisations especially those with tax returns like it is been done in other climes . The CBN governor is too theoritical. He has never inspired me in his presentations.

That useless CBN Governor and his crew needs to be slapped.

I will slap him wherever I see him.

Why give to the wealthy instead of the poor masses?

Ohhhh. APC buhari and his band of demons have destroyed the little remaining in Nigeria.

It should simply have been BVN based. A percentage of your turnover with a reasonably set cap.

This one they are doing is simply abracadabra: "the more you look, the less you see."

If you don't have BVN, nothing for you, it will further emphasize the need to get documented.

I weep for my nation for we have the most wicked leaders. I have one question for the CBN. If a household has been adversely affected by Covid-19 and their final resort is to take the N3m loan from CBN, how would the household repay the N3m plus 5% interest within 12 months. Somebody will now come and say I am a citizen of Nigeria and I have a government. In a country where I am no a citizen the govt has made provisions to pay me $2,000 monthly for the next four months if I am adversely affected by Covid-19. There are other palliative measures made available by the govt such as deferring my mortgage payments for the next 6 months. Deffering utility payments for the next 3 months. Defferring property taxes for the next 6 months. Increasing child care benefit by $300. I very much understand that Nigeria's economy may not be as vibrant as that of a developed nation but ask yourself the question how did we get here? Who did this to us?

Many of these leaders, politicians and bourgeoise need to die. They never learn anything at all.

Other countries where things are even easier are giving out free bail-outs and stipends to businesses and households but CBN is only interested in hawking loan facilities with their usual stringent bureaucracies that will eventually end up making the rich ones, even richer.

Hopeless apes! Let Covid-19 kill everyone of you.

How many Nigerians pay income tax? Very very few but they want to live like those in the US who pays about 36 of their income in taxes. Not to talk of all other taxes such property, alchohol, tobacco, fuel, airport, shopping and many many other taxes. At the end of the day, you are paying close to 70 percent in taxes when you factor in all other taxes.
all workers in the organized private sector pay tax as it should be.
