With the kind of show of shame that played out in his arrest, continuous detention and trial; this present government has shown they do worse than Sowore claimed in that post.

Even if Sowore is deliberately posting fake and unfounded rumors as news, shebi it is only right for a sensible government to set the record straight and make Sowore a subject of disrepute in doing so. This government would rather revel.in impunity and use force in a democratic dispensation.

I was going make a financial commitment last week that will cost almost 800k, but from the analysis of the Nigerian and world economy in this trying times, mo ya look away.

I learnt not only will Nigeria as a nation face great financial problems resulting from the crash in oil prices and how it affects the budget, the world at large may also experience recession as a fallout of the Corona virus pabdemic. With countries closing borders and producing countries not getting to sell their stuff this period, the fallout will be seriously serious.

It is best you convert that N800k to dollars, hide it somewhere safe and come back to it in 6 months after Naira must have lost half it's value against the dollar.

By then it would provide decent buffer against the inflation that will come with the tumbling Naira.

Do not save that money in the bank.

Buy PayPal or any online payment fund. Small service fee sha.

Yes, you could that also. Wasn't sure if dollar deposit accounts were on offer in Naija. Make sure say na solid bank sha. However be cognisant that a dollar deposit account may only pay you at the CBN rate, not the parallel rate - if the money can only be withdraw in Naira (not sure). If 2015 is anything to go by, the parallel rate was almost doubling the CBN rate at one point.

I will do my findings very well. Thanks for the finance tip. I'm sure I should be able to withdraw in dollar after which I can then change to naira at the parallel rate.
