I have called for the removal of service chiefs severally and even lambasted Buhari on it, while we have made significant progress in the fight against Boko Haram, I believe a lot still need to be done and I have no qualms with anyone blasting Buhari over Boko Haram, even I do it too.

Herders n farmers clash will end when ranching is made possible all over the country. Surprisingly some state govt. are fighting against it. A lot of criminals are hiding under Fulani herdsmen to perpetuate their crimes and put it on them.

I learnt they ambushed many soldiers few days ago and some are probably bread-winners of their families.

I see no significant progress yet, despite all the billions pumped into the fight. If your output doesn't justify the input, that's a let down.

Maybe we should even thank Corona for the reduction in their attacks recently.

Nigeria is currently producing 4.9 million tonnes of Rice. Egypt was producing 4.3 million tonnes of rice before they decided to cut their production.

Do explain how 4.3 million tonnes would have been higher than 4.9 million tonnes.

That delay on vat returns till summer is a nice cashflow boost to have during this period as well.

Wfh is saving me around 1300 in monthly overhead too

There's enough in reserve to cover next 6 months at current rate of spending, might stretch to a year if I really tighten the belt.

But I'm already in fight or flight mode, and willing to sign on if it gets to that.

Just like the Prince of Wales, He'd be fine. The bigger issue imo should be the "Testing Procedure". If I walked into my local NHS trust displaying the same Mild symptons BoJo/Our Prince had, I'd be turned back and told to go home and Self isolate. Very interesting.

When Buhari closed the border last year August to stop importation of rice, chickens and the likes, most of these people were crying like bush babies.

Today, with all the disruption with global supply chain, price of rice, chicken and other essentials has remained the same. Most of theee bush babies now eat the local rice like their life depends on it. Our import bill on rice is almost zero and import bill for chicken has gone down drastically. We are now the highest producer of rice in Africa. Rice mill are springing up everywhere, creating jobs for both farmers, retailer and manufacturers. Poultry farming is at an all time high, more people are going into agriculture and we are heading towards food sufficiency.

Military and police are now buying their patrol vans from Innoson and Proforce, Factories in Aba are now making boots for the military, police and NYSC. Garment factory in calabar is now producing uniform for our security outfits. We now have fertilizer blending plants working at full capacity.

Bush babies that know nothing about the economy or the affairs of the country other than what they hear on WhatsApp trying to form knowledgeable on issues they know nothing about. Echo chambers who only echo what they have heard others saying.

What do you expect coming from people that follows FFK, Reno and the likes. LMAO.

exporting the rice we grow for foreign exchange? This looks like a perfect opportunity.

Significant progress has been made. The media obviously amplify their attack anytime they attack and barely report whenever the military are on the offensive.

All the same, I agree the service chiefs should have been sacked, if not for nothing but to bring fresh ideas into the military top strategy against the one going fight.

The North will actually judge Buhari and how he tackled Boko Haram and bandits and rightly so. As in C-I-C, the buck stop at his table.

We are not yet self sufficient in rice production. We still have about 2 million tonnes or thereabouts to reach that level before we start talking about export.

You do well. Contractors usually have strong cash reserves kept in the company waiting to be allocated. The only problem is they let you go with one weeks notice. My guy who leads IT at Manchester Airport just had to let 4 go, and he's worried sick himself, but he built up enough cash left in his business from his contracting days.

As for me, I'm suddenly over-leveraged on mortgages with no cash buffer. I go take that 3 months mortgage break to try bank small cash. Childminder done cancel me so I go bank that monthly saving and care for the kids between myself and madam. Also if redundancy comes, that should still provide another maybe 9 months due to length of service. With income protection insurance that pays some small amount for 12 months, I think I go dey alright till this thing blows over hopefully, but I need to bank some cash fast to feel more comfortable.

I hope our guy Nateevs is alright. I know he services IT for hotel industry.

A shortage of Test Kits Bro. Even those on the Front Line are not spared. Apart from a Few NHS trust(which btw only started doing that a day or 2 ago), most Medical Staffs are told to do likewise when they begin to show Mild Symptoms of the Virus.
