Senators Sneak Into Private Hospitals For Coronavirus Tests - The Nation by ijustdey(op): 12:33pm On Mar 28, 2020
The last executive session of the Senate before sitting was suspended for two weeks was with a drama over COVID-19. About 35 Senators who recently came back from London after a seminar on Petroleum Industry Governance Bill were isolated by their colleagues at the session because they refused to subject themselves to Coronavirus test.

All the remaining senators refused to either shake hands or engage them in discussions. The usual camaraderie was absent as many senators wanted a snappy session.

Findings at press time revealed that most of the senators opted for COVID-19 test only in private hospitals because they feared that their health status might leak from government clinics. All of them are keeping the results to themselves.

The challenge at hand is that the President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan, does not know who is positive or negative among his colleagues. The Senate remains at a higher risk.

United Kingdom Prime Minister And his Secretary of Health were not ashamed to announce to the world themselves that they’d tested positive to the virus.

Few US senators have also tested positive and announced to the world.

What is now the reason for playing hide and seek by our Senators to test, know and announced their status.

They all know that based on their handwork, Nigerians will never wish them well if they tested positive to it

Let them go to the gigantic hospitals they have built in their respective states

Look at ignorance and silliness. The hospitals they refused to equip are now going to treat them. It's really sad and pathetic for Nigerian leaders to continue to neglect their constituents. Now, no overseas to run to. This is just the beginning. More chastisement is coming should this warning shot of covid escape the target people.

If you are ordinary nigerian, always take precautionary measures against this coro coro virus. Prevention is better than cure.

But if you decide to act anyhow, the reality would hit you like a bomb when you catch covid19.

You see those hospitals being equipped with HiTech machines and ventilators at various isolation centres, they are not for you. They are being prepared for the rich.

If you doubt me, go catch the virus and your name go be "Sorry".

Keep yourself alive. Your loved ones need you alive.

There is nothing truthful in Nigeria politics. It's all about lies....full of lies.

My mind is telling me that bubu has contacted this covid 19 but don't want to disclose it to the public.

E get as just God just create we Nigerians.. I wonder why we don’t have a good mindset towards each other. Even if not 100% good, at least 70-75% is okay and with that, the country will get better..

Not just Government oo, I mean we Nigerians.

Senseless people. They are used to hiding their ailments that is why they have to sneak to do a mandatory test. This is the same way they sneak overseas for medicare.
