[s]We are not disputing that young man..that he is the best in 2km roads.. kudos.

Every state is an independent unit and SE is a political creation. No future of any SE states is tied to another... simple[/s].
Instead of quoting "SE" over and over again making it your headache why dont you focus on your region and leave South Easterners alone. Whether you call Umahi 2km road or 1 meter road it doesn't take away your pain and your misery knowing he is performing more than whoever you have and will have as Governor in your own state despite the little resources at his disposal.. Peace

I give the best governors to Zulum of Borno state with Babajide Sanwo-olu follow by Umahi of Ebonyi state. I believe am entitled to my own opinion.
That's correct although we can't say for sure if Sanwo could do all those things Zulum and Umahi are doing with little resources

I am currently in Ebonyi state sir!

A governor who starves his people to death in the name of building roads and unnecessary flyovers. Meanwhile, the construction of these unnecessary constructions is done by his construction company and materials supplied by him too.

No recruitment of new workers and no promotion since he assumed office. Slashed workers salaries by more than 50% and at the same time taxing these people.

Most Ebonyi people are practically begging, no light, no water and no new job.

I can go on and on but to what end?

State owned tap water runs ocassionally, not everyday though, but an average of thrice every week.

I have light for an average of 6hours everyday, and the burden of electricity lies in the privately owned EEDC and not state government.

As for promotion, it's unfair but he is miles better than the governors who don't pay civil servants and still don't initiate and complete projects.

undecided

And mind you, Ebonyi people can never die of hunger, not when literally all Ebonyians are farmers and have a farm in rural Ebonyi areas where they cultivate essential foods like garri, red oil, yam and rice.

The light is not constant, but I'm sure Ebonyi has light more than some states. As for the water reticulations, is still not all places that have gotten it, being that the two water schemes are not yet completed. Then promotion of civil servants, Dave put a stop on that long time ago.

Tap water runs occasionally but 3x a week is an exaggeration; even once in a week is an exaggeration as well. You fetch water when you see it.

Light? Well, If you say so.

No promotion and no new jobs too. Which government does that? People are retiring and some dying, yet no new jobs. What happened to the money?

Why will he owe people he slashed down their salaries by more than 50%? Mind you, these same people still pay taxes from this meagre salaries. I don't even want to talk about the private sector that he's forcing to pay tax. Imagine a private school teacher paying tax from 10k salary.

Educational standard in Ebonyi has fallen so bad because it is now seen as a business by most schools. They do all manner of things to retain their students so as to be able to pay some fees and taxes levied on them by this crude government.

When I say dying I don't literally mean death per say but the suffering in that state is alarming.

Mind you, I am not writing all these to bring the government led by Umuahi down but to clarify those who see him for who he is not.

You're simply STUPID, delusional and Umahi asslicker. Prove your point with facts and not derogatory remarks.
Keep living in ignorance, I've got no problems with that.

FYI, this is the last response you'll get from me, enough said already.

When his tenure will have ended and a poverty-alleviation Governor assumes power, there will be infrastructure and investments to enjoy with the wealth such Governor will create; by promoting civil servants, employing more, and increasing minimum wage for existing ones.

Dave won't rule forever, that's for sure. Someday a worker friendly Governor will rise, and there will be enough money, to use and enjoy these infrastructure Dave had put in place.

I'm sure there are governors who owe backlog of salaries and yet construct nothing, Dave is lot better those of them. Some persons should stop making Dave sound like the worst across Nigeria, in these perilous times of low crude oil sales.

He created poverty to build infrastructure. And so what? In Elechi times, there was fairer standard of living yet basically no infrastructure, these same people abused Ebonyi of being non-igbo, backward, cursed, mockeries upon mockeries.

Dave build on biko. But be aware after you I'm voting any body who promises the standard 33k minimum wage and promotion/employment of civil servants, any one who campaigns with that is who i'll vote for, as well as other impoverished Ebonyians, come 2023.

Be the candidate in APC or Labour or PDP. Whether it will be campaign lies or gimmicks, that is left for God to know. We will vote based on what we hear. In 2023, more of money circulation.

Times are hard; for the governments, and everyone alike.

States are witnessing slash in allocations due to poor crude oil sales across the globe. FG is embarking on multiple loan schemes. What I mean to say is state governments are forced to look out for other revenue generating cows. Given, the inadequately paid civil servants should not be the victims of these perilous times, but they see proceeds of their taxes with their naked eyes.

Argue all you want about education but ebonyi improved in WAEC performance ratings, in contrast with Elechi-led tenure.

I will not disagree that there is hunger in the land, but so is it across Nigeria. The good thing is we are compensated with visible, gigantic, important landmarks that will change the destiny of Ebonyi for good.

Just this sunday, COVISD-19 laboratory center was equipped in Abakaliki, courtesy Dave Umahi. Till today, there is no case of COVID-19 in Abakaliki, thanks to his proactive approach to the menace.

Hate him or rate him, he has something to show for these damp periods. More investors are pouring into the state courtesy the infrastructure he is putting in place.

We hope that in sooner time, his tenure will end and a governor who is oriented to poverty-alleviation will assume power so that wealth can be enjoyed with these infrastructure. That is my hope and i will be patient about it.
