Any update on March Salary for tertiary institutions pls?

I think this time around federal government is trying to make it general, that all the university staff should join the IPPIS. Because there is no point of paying those that have joined without others..it doesnt make any solution..

So we should suffer because of some persons who refused to join IPPIS? Got a reliable information that salaries will be paid on Tuesday.

go back and read again,there is nowhere he wrote higher institutions.
What is there is 'tertiary' institution and you also have tertiary institutions in the health sector eg FMCs and teaching hospitals.
If he wants to be specific, then he should write something like "Fed govt owned tertiary educational institutions"

Teaching Hospitals are NOT tertiary institutions they are Hospitals under the Ministry of health
Tertiary institutions are under the Ministry of education

Again workers of federal tertiary institutions have been paid March salary despite the delay that characterized the payment on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information Service (IPPIS). The workers of other ministries, department and agencies have received March salary since 27th March. Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education owned by federal government has since February experienced delay in payment of salaries to workers in the sector. The February salary was paid to federal tertiary institutions workers on March 13th while the March salary was also lately paid today Monday April 6th amidst the coronavirus pandemic lockdown order which affected the economic activities across the country.





The February salary was used to examine the effectiveness of IPPIS in the payment of salary for tertiary institutions workers so as to make adjustments in subsequents payments. The irregularities that marred the payment also reflected in the March salary though report from IPPIS revealed that Bursars of federal tertiary institutions failed to submit compiled errors made in February salary inorder to make proper adjustment in March salary. A staff of Obafemi Awolowo University received a shortpay in his salary by about #6,000 to that paid using same IPPIS platform in February. Aside the shortpay, no federal institutions workers has been paid new minimum wage since the federal government commenced the payment of the new minimum wage in December 2019.

Police station is primary detention institution ,medium security prison is secondary detention institution and maximum security prison is tertiary security institution
Mortuary is primary corpse holding institution, cemetery is secondary and heaven is tertiary institution

High court is primary judicial institution, Appeal Court is secondary judicial institution and Supreme court is tertiary judicial institution

Mine don enter too but it was less than what was paid last month. Any idea on why the shortfall? Secondly do you know whether they are using the new minimum wage to pay?
