You’re right. Alagba is from Onigbongbo compound in Ilesa. He trekked from Ilesa to Lagos lagoon and was ferried by the Awori fishermen for the sole purpose of marring Erelu Kuti.

He really tried, because as at then, they were no capable sons of Eko fit enough to marry the the last Benin regent and the need to inform Osun Yoruba’s for help.

Leave us to it, if the Benin people want the throne back let them step up and say so, or do they want to say they don't know the road to the palace anymore? Or is that they want us to come and give them in their house?

To us it is Ilú Ekó.....to you it is Lagos.....don't you ever forget it.

Immediately I saw ASHIPA as the son of Oba of Bini, I stopped reading the fake history.

Ashipa, a name and title common throughout Yoruba land was a Lagos Warrior that broker peace between Oba of Bini a cousin whose father came from Ife; and Lagos warriors that fought the settlers turned rebels gallantly to a standstill.

If children of Ogiso want to distance themselves from Yoruba because they do not belong to the Ruling house, fine. Others have done so but more across Africa and Americas have identified themselves as Yoruba.
