I understand that in 2015, many of us were upset at GEJ’s inadequacies and PDP’s corruption in general, but after observing Buhari’s first term in office where we visibly saw that he had no clue about what he was doing in office as president, someone please help me understand how some of us campaigned and re-elected him?

Was this some religious and ethnic loyalty against country, was it ignorance, was it a calculated attempt to spite PDP to our detriment, was it just hope against fact that he’ll pick up his slack, or what was it?

I’m yet to understand this. I’ll have to call out some nairalanders on this

The same zones who voted to elect Buhari in 2015, voted to re-elect in 2019, for the same reason, they wanted to remain politically relevant.

Im happy that us in the SE/SS area always rejected Buhari all 5 times he ran for president. Jonathan may have been no 'saviour', but we always knew that Buhari was much worse
