Are you referring to the Covik 1 - 9 government ?

Or the government that Boko Haram kidnapped their soldiers and rag tag Chadian soldiers delivered them ?

Oga, 5g like other networks( 0- 300ghz) have not been scientifically proven to have adverse effect on humans.
What effects has it had on countries where it is being deployed undecided before now. The only reason the whites made it controversial is simply because it was pioneered in china.
Get ur facts right and not just believe everything you see.

No. It was pioneered in the US. The fight between US and China is about whose company will build the 5g infrastructure in Europe and other countries.

The claim was even between USA and South Korea

Many like FFK, Dino and the likes like them in Nairaland are just technologically blind. They are too illetrate when it comes to technology matter; they seem not to understand other technologies except social network especially Twitter to tweet 'rubbish'.

Despite being proved that there is no connection between Coronavirus and 5G scientifically at moment, yet they remain ignorant about it and not even ready to change their dispositions since it is not Buhari matter that usually drive them crazy.

If MTN launched it since November 2019, did it cause havoc to Nigeria when it was launched? Why didn't MTN 5G network launch caused disease in Nigeria in November, December and even January after launch ever before China own spread to here?

Other Africa countries that do not have 5g network yet, did Coronavirus not spread to them too or is it their potential/proposed 5g network that caused it too?

The race was between usa , south korea and china, south korea were simply the first to "launch" it, each country were working on it.
China's huawei became the no.1 in 5g development.

Some of you are a disgrace to the educated ones.
You hardly check for facts but narrate and scare people with your unregulated ignorance.

Sometimes, I am beginning to see a generation who are low on facts but high on speculative nonsensical ideas.

The Govt said they have only carried out the initial testing but no license to operate 5G network has been issued. From the available information there is at least no pranks been played by the government.
The government has its weaknesses no doubt but we should be more pragmatic in our vindictiveness/criticism

People have refused to actually read, that is their problem. They easily jump into conclusions as if there's a reward for it.

That is the painful truth, the information is there, yet they deliberately refuse to search it out. They'll instead opt to comment trash on any topic that proves their theories right but with no single evidence.

Till date, there has not been any proven connection between the 5G network and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Yes the FG in partnership with the MTN carried out a demo testing of the 5G network last year (November 2019) but this was carried out with the existing 4G network.

4G was used because 5G has not been licensed in the country. NCC is currently understudying the result and is yet to communicate their findings to the Hon Minister of Communication and Digital Economy

Yea we also need an independent view on this. I don't trust these government agencies

Probably why I got a wart on my ass around that period. Let us go back to sending messages by beating jungle drums while wearing loincloths.

The only downside I can see concerning the 5g network is that the NL 'scientific' community who researched the harmful effect of 5g get to post their conspiracy theories faster and more stridently.

Nigerians would now go about burning MTN masts cry
You would now start seeing forwarded WhatsApp messages about how MTN in collaboration with Bill gates and China are upgrading everybody's sim card to 5G to spread Corona, urging us to destroy our MTN SIM cards.

MTN Nigeria's earnings about to take a dip. cry
Seriously many Nigerians really believe that 5G stuff.

But federal government denied it that we don't have 5G network in Nigeria and I watched MTN on channels tv during the launch. The question here is that why all the lies if something is not cooking somewhere.

It was a grand event in Abuja and was all over the news last year when it was tested. What's the fuse about again.
