Why are we wasting billions of dollars on useless operations like Lafiadole instead of just employing Chadian troops for less. We all know that if you lack competence in any activity or event, you just have to employ experts or professionals to handle such for you. For about 20 years now the Nigerian Armed Forces have been overwhelmed by a ragtag Islamic Boko Haram. The latter have killed, maimed, kidnapped and destroyed towns, villages, communities, churches, mosques, schools etc . Infact beheading our troops have become their hobby.
Having decimated our troops, the same Islamic Boko Haram became emboldened to try it on Chad by killing 90 soldiers. That singular error has become their biggest undoing. Chadian soldiers are now pursuing the ragtag Islamist within our territory. While our troops hail them. Infact they are now releasing our soldiers held in captivity awaiting beheading.
On our part, we have been spending billions on this war without results except capturing the terrorists' flag and a few daneguse and motorcycles. Our soldiers take to their heels on sighting the terrorists and even when their commanders manage to visit the frontlines Boko Haram attack their convoy. Last time Buhari was in Bornu, the terrorists were bold enough to warn him NEVER to try it again. What an affront?
Whereas Chad have within one week routed the terrorists and captured their watehouse. Now Chad has placed a demand on Shekau to surrender or be killed. Great Chadian soldiers deserve ecomium and greater incentives. Hence I am calling on the Buhari led FG to let pride aside and accept the incompetence of our troops.
The FG should immediately engage Chadian soldiers to flush out these terrorist for a price that would be less thsn what Boko Haram demanded to release our brothers snd sisters in captivity. Operations Lafiadole, like other useless operations should be disbanded. In fact there is need to sack all officers above the rank of Major and allow new blood into the system. This ilshould not be exclusive to the Army but across all Security agencies. We need a rebranding of our Armef Forces. In the interim, we need to urgently engage Chad to help us flush these terrorist whilevwe rebuild our Armed Forces.

The soldiers are not the problem, the Government is. Even the American, Russian and German soldiers can not do anything working under this government.
The thieves in power are using the security votes to enrich their miserable lives.

But I believe they'll reap the fruit of this seed been sewn same way the Covid-19 pandemic has made them enjoy the State-Of-The -Art health facilities they've always claimed to have invested into in the health sector. The hen will surely come home to roost

Yes, our troops are trying. But insanity is doing same thing for 20 years with same result. Let us try something different. The rank and file are as good but their leaders. If the leadership is corrupt, how can the rank and file succeed. Truth is Chadian soldiers are not better but they have GOOD LEADERSHIP. This is what Nigeria lacks.

Whats all these sickening noise from Nigerians glorifying Chadian soldiers and mocking our military guys simply because Chadian troops cleared a camp of boko haram terrorists in Chad?

Oga, the Nigerian army and airforce has killed over 2000 BH terrorists and cleared multiple terrorist cells in the last 6 years. These bokoharam guys have for years, used Chad as their safe haven from where they launch attacks against Nigerian targets and then retreat back to Chad after unleashing mayhem. If the Chadian troops have been meeting up with their end of the MNJTF bargain by flushing out the bokoharam camps in Chadian territory, then these terrorists would have been eliminated a long time ago.

Just last week, BH launched an attack against Chadian troops killing about 100 of them, and this forced the Chadian govt to finally take action which they should have done years ago but refused to for God knows what reason. Now here we are, ignorant Nigerians are hailing Chad and mocking our military? The ignorance and unpatriotism of Nigerians stink... *spits*

The Nigerian military has done a hundred times more than what the Chadian military has just done. It's just nauseating seeing how many Nigerians think this is a sensible basis to mock the effort of Nigerians military, all because Chadian troops cleared out one BH camp in Chadian territory, something they have been required to do a long time ago under the MNJTF agreement.
