X is number of birds flying in a group - x They met 1 bird - 1 Half number in the group - x÷2 Half number in group plus 1 gives 100 - (x÷2)+1=100 X÷2 = 99 X=198 This generation is finished Just see this primary school teaser and these nairalanders can't even give a procedural solution What a shame!!! Interpretation: 198 birds were in the group set But total number of birds in the air is (group + one bird) Therefore total number of birds is 198 + 1 199 (answer) |

Answer is 198, Let 'b' rep the total no of the birds. ½b+ 1 = 100 ½b = 99 b = 99 x 2 b=198 So half of 198 birds + the other bird is equal to 100. |

This is simple English na.. 49 is the answer . Half of hundred is 50. They said they would need more half of them plus him ..don't forget.. a bird.. the bird... Means 1 bird.. They're 49.. plus him.. equals. 50.. They're actual number is 49 |

Its very easy .. According to d words of d multiple birds rep....0.5x + 1 = 100 X = 198 ..so they are 198 So then , total birds in the sky = 198 + 1 = 199... Hear this , " it takes half of us (198/2 = 99) plus you (1) to make us 100... |
