1. Maybe because it offers a lot of low cost high end phone features.

2. There are more female, teenage, middle age and elderly users of the device. These are the set that are happy with minimum requirement standards.

3. After sales service is easy to assess as they have centres around.

4. Replacement parts are easy to come by.

5. They are still affordable by all standard.

6. They have been around for a while, thus the name techno has become the Nokia of those days.

I have used mine for two years and have zero complaint.

Techno camon 12 that my brother bought early February all of a sudden turned white screen without it fallen from him or hitting it on a hard stuff.
