IlovePMB:
My question is what is the gain of Yorubas and Hausas or Igbos from their leaders in APC. I am not a selfish fellow. The major reason I supported Buhari was because Boko haram was killing northerners with reckless abandon. I taught Buhari as a Muslim northern military general would end the killing. But he failed woefully. I am not from the north. I have no business in the north, I am not affected by Bokoharam but I feel for the poor Christians and Muslims suffering the terrorism. I could as well say let Bokoharam finish them it is not my business. But I can't say that. Because they are humans like me. You need to change your selfish mind set.

Nigeria needs revolution. But since revolution is not possible now because of people like you, any sensible Nigerian should forget about the government and think of ways to improve his or her well-being. This is my point.
you better wake up, and close in on government at all level.. except you aint a business owner.. if you are then you should Know Government controls exchange rate, bank lending rate, tax and business levy and many other things that would directly strangle your business and frustrate your life... I share your sentiments on BH issues and voting Buhari, that was my initial reason for voting him, but right now my 2023 decision is key .. we either vote right or wail hard and for me Osinbajo or Tinubu is the person I wana trust my future with

Igbos have great chances to win the presidential election in 2023.

SpecialAdviser:
In 1999, Yorubas did not have foothold in PDP but a Yoruba man won the president.

I see no reason why an Igbo man cannot be given the chance in APC if we really want to move forward together as a nation. My opinion.

No Region is selfish sir.

Individual politicians from ANY part of the country can and should aspire for the highest position in this country.

It's patriotic to do so.

Osibanjo is manageable. Tinubu is a no no. Anyways, I can't vote. It is useless. Wake me up when you are ready for revolution.

You should really be ashamed of yourself and your generation for supporting useless government in the name of being partisan.
You should also be ashamed of anything you stand in. No iota of integrity. Spit on your empty skull.

What I am trying to say is this. Whether Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo or any tribe, it would actually bring no positive change. Moreover, our vote don't count. By 2023, APC would give us anything they want as Nigeria president. And we continue to lament and suffer.

My advice

1. We can only change Nigeria by revolution. I don't see secession as solution. Because if Nigeria divides today, it would still be the criminals ruling us that would distribute themselves to the top positions because they have the money and power. And revolution itself would not be possible for now because majority of us are cowards and we have more foolish people in the country who are still divided by religious and tribal sentiments. Tribalism and religious fanaticism is our major challenge.

2. Detribalise your self. Love every tribe. Make friends outside your tribe they can help you. I once got a 200k loan from an Hausa Muslim friend without a collateral or interest yet non of my Igbo friends and relations who were even richer agreed to help me.

3. Do not waste your time because of any of the present Nigerian politicians. Our so called leaders don't care about us. If you like vote if you like don't vote. I have personally decided never ever to vote. One of my greatest disappointments in life was Buhari's failure to fulfill any of his promises. I supported and defended him with all my might not because I am Fulani or Yoruba. But because of the assurance and promises he and his vice gave to Nigerians. His earliest blonder was when he made the 5 percent comment referring to the south east and south south. So we in the region that supported him were fools.

4. Assume you are not a Nigerian but an African. Only thinking that you are a Nigerian can block your senses and make you dumb. Explore life. There is good life outside Nigeria. Nigeria as a nation is dead. Since we are still concerned about the tribe that would produce President in Nigeria, it means Nigeria is not a nation. US, UK, China, France, Italy, Germany and so on don't care about the region that will produce their presidents. They look for visionary leaders. That was why US voted for Obama from Kenya as their president instead of Hilary Clinton.

5. Don't hope on the government. Create a business if you are not comfortably employed. Think and seek knowledge on how to improve your well-being.

6. If you are a man of good will, try contesting during election. May be just may be, God may use you bring transformation to the people.

7. Add yours.
A revolution is not possible in Nigeria because Nigeria has no unity of purpose. How the Igbo man sees Nigeria is not how the Yoruba man sees Nigeria nor how the Hausa/Fulani man sees it. When Sowore tried to initiate a non violent Revolution, the Northerners saw it as an attempt by a failed Yoruba politician to topple one of their own from. The fact that Buhari's administration has failed abysmally isnt even what they care about, they wanted Sowore's head.

When Kanu initiated a non violent movement go allow the people of the East to choose if they want to be in Nigeria or not, other sections in Nigeria called it an act of war. How can referendum translate to war?

The only way out is disintegration. It is time for us all to admit that Nigeria was a 1914 mistake of the British, they should have never brought us all together. It is now time for the constituent people to go their separate ways and manage themselves, their lands and resources as best they know. The alternative is to have the present Nigeria where things will continually get worse with every passing day

Educate me on what Yorubas, Hausas and Fulanis have gained from their brothers that have been in the seat of power since independence. Are northerners better off now under their brother Buhari than they were during Jonathan's time?

An average Igbo man does not care about who becomes president. Igbos have personal hatred for Buhari that was why APC cannot sell in the southeast. I have realized why they hated him. It was because he was not good in handling the economy and his link with sharia. Igbos like doing business in an economically viable environment. That was why they supported atiku and Obi. Two liberal and successful business men.

If Rochas and Osinbajo contest for presidency, many Igbos would not come out to vote. And majority of the few people that would come out would vote for Osinbajo.

Study the the Igbo voting partern, you will understand.
