I would guess it collects sound over great distances and funnels this into the ears of the people operating them. It must be very sensitive however, so if you fart near those equipment someone's eardrum will burst

As far as I could gather the bats had incendiary bombs on them .

When the bomb containing them was released at a predetermined altitude the bats were released .

The bats like to nest in homes etc in cities so they would fly straight for the homes , then there was some sort of timer in the bombs attached to the bats which would go off setting ablaze the homes

That was the general operating principle.

You don't need degrees to start any business atleast in my side of the world .

You will need knowledge , finance and commitment

If u want training best enroll with gunsmiths / firearm companies ( small medium big sized ) as apprentice and learn from them the trade. Many exist in USA , and Africa possibly u might try SA
