COVID -19 : Lagos Discharges 7 More Patients by Melezenawii(op): 4:30pm On Apr 10, 2020
Dear Lagosians,

I bring you more good news from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, 7 more patients; 3 females and 4 males were discharged to reconnect with the community after a full recovery and having tested negative twice consecutively for #COVID19

This brings to 46, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Yaba facility.

So far, we have had 100 percent recovery from the #COVID19 cases we have admitted and managed at our isolation facilities.

Audio coronavirus

Audio patients

We are discharging patients everyday yet we still need to import doctors from China, for what again if i may ask?

Call me anything you, nothing like Coronavirus in Nigeria. Government are just using the audio virus to loot our treasury.

Stay at home, stay at home, don't go out so you won't contact corona yet hunger are killing people at home.

Heartless and selfish government.

The corona isn’t audio, things can only be hidden for so long. What they’re doing, is trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Use the audio discharge to reduce panic and loot more. However, when shit hits the fan, we go know if na purge or bread.

Ok, look it this way.
Mr A(an entrepreneur and a so called philanthropist) announced that he is donating 5B for the virus. We all hail him and happy.
Most times, the AIM and Objective of this scam is to do what is popularly called Cleaning of Dirty Money.
A lot of politicians, drug pushers with loads of money at home that can not be easily taken to bank or used to start buying expensive properties, without raising eye brow.
So what they do is, any opportunity or pandemic that will require govt. buying equipments from abroad will be used as a conduit to move and wash the money.
Do you actually believe Otedola has 1/5b he declared to support the virus? common, you think he loves us that good? Do you think he has such amount in the bank physically? i know he has that worth assets.
So what they do line behind a know business man, popular musicians, NGOs to fund them and arrange a paper to back it up and the businessman donates this money to govt - accountant general or the necessary guys in govt that will be involved, while another person in their group floats a funny company abroad producing face mask, hand sanitizers, ventilators etc or use an existing company that will take their share at the end of the day.
So legally, a dirty money is transferred out of the country to acquire things for people in distress. Out of the 5B raised, equipments worth 200m wil be supplied so that everything will look real and have evidence (prices wil also be inflated to justify the purchases).
At the end of the day, the looters may lose 1b out of the 5b to clean the money and make it look legal. This trick is also been used to clean money through casinos and football transfer deals for players in europe.
Bro, a lot is going on behind us, a lot.
I am not saying corona virus is not real but figures are inflated, launderers are taking advantages of it and death rates are padded or inflated.
I have a bro into this shit and the guy is making hell of a money, if you go through my post around last year, i talked about him and how working as an employee is not really encouraging because he lives flamboyantly and makes someone like us working looks stupid

I'm responding with just a picture. I hope it clears the doubt and all you have stated can be done without Covid-19. People like Tony Elumelu spends more on salaries/wages in two weeks. He spends more on his Foundation targeted at African Entrepreneurs on a yearly basis. They stand to lose more by not supporting the fight against the virus, I hope you're aware? They're gonna pay salaries even while most of their staff are home rendering skeletal or zero services. Asides those in the healthcare industry, I don't understand what any entrepreneur stands to gain from the lockdown.

Yes you are right and emmaodet is also right too. Going with what Emma said, they get to kill two birds with one stone. How do I mean, they get to clean their money whilst donating and fighting the virus. It's a more win win game for them politicians and those who are milking in this pandemic. Take for instance a huge amount of money was lost due to the fire outbreak in AG. office, just saying.

Well, I don't rely on speculations when I'm confronted with facts. Monies donated are sent to CBN. Unless, you can convince me that the CBN governor is part of the "dirty money cleansing", then it will remain what it is - a rumour.

And btw, the AG office has come to say no money was lost from the fire outbreak. Whose report are you believing?

I know you are the type who deals with facts which is good. But the fact you don't have facts to prove this doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It can happen right under the CBN governor's nose. Or he could turn a blind eye. It's all about twisting the laws.

You've made some good points though. Corruption cuts across both private and public organizations.

I get you bro.
Is there corona virus? Yes
Is the death rate as high as posted? Well, for me, i don't think so (my opinion).
Are people using this opportunity/medium to loot, launder or clean money? Personally, i will say yes.
Does it favour our govt? No
Even boko haram doesn't favour us nor our economy but some people are cashing out, laundering and cleaning money in the process.
Bro, at any point in time or any opportunity people see, they are ready to milk the country.
Around 2015/2016, can't remember again, during the high dollar rate and scarcity. I was lucky and by chance to meet a money/dollar round tripping cartel/mafia.
They send money with the help of guys in bank to ghana at the rate of #360/$ while the black market then was going for #450/$. Remember the cvn governor was calling for devaluation then to bridge the gap between parallel and official rate but President not yielding.
On a thousand dollars transfer, i usually make 70-80k.
You send money to ghana, go there and break ng the dollar withdrawn and change at the parallel market rate. Then you continue the cycle.
The guy that linked us to the deal was a banker at Access bank then, within 6 months he made 30m minimum. He retired from the banking job after the deals closed.
And we all are just kids, small fries in the game.
The biggest people that made a good cash out were alhajis cbn workers, bureau de changes etc.
My summary is that some people are taking advantage of this medium and won't pray for it to stop any time soon.

illegal things don't really have evidence or facts to an extent, abi do you want to use the evidence to rope them? Then what is the essence of it been illegal when there are evidences, facts or traces.
I have a cousin into the laundering cartel and i have done some too, so why should i keep the evidence?
To go to jail?

Your point about people that are taking advantage of the situation is valid. My point is we can't point to anyone in particular at this point in time even though we all agree that corruption is real. Not making excuses for corporates (donors especially) but they're the least of those cashing out from the
current situation.

I want to believe they're donating because of their genuine concern for the nation, the need to get back to business, or both.

Another way they could clean their money is real estate but it's takes a longer time to do it. Plus they can't put in much. So this pandemic is like a safe heaven.

If they are donating so that they could go out there and loot more, it's still for our own good and could easily be passed off as "genuine concern".
