Hey guys....
Am not sure on getting the Samsung a30s or the Redmi note 8.
Am planning to get one after the lockdown ends
Though I know the redmi note 8 beats the Samsung a30s in terms of specs handsdown..... I'm concerned because of the software, brand name and minor issues such as network.

Xiaomi note 8 is better than Samsung A30s but I will choose the A30s over ANY xiaomi phone.

Op abeg try and help us with simple questions and not complex ones, this your question is like asking which one taste better between jollof rice and fried rice... chicken or turkey... fried meat or pepper soup... suya or point and kill. So just compare xiaomi with tecno so that we can tell u to pick xiaomi or infinix or Samsung so that we will tell u to pick Samsung.

The redmi Note 8 is not beaten, buy galaxy A30s and you buy brand name. Get the note 8 and have performance plus peace of mind.

Thanks dude...I honestly wanted to go for the redmi note 8...but since I don't know much peeps that use the phone... I wasn't sure cos of the reliability and durability

Samsung is a very nice phone besides best Android and super Amoled Display makes it stand out. However, if the screen break.. ready to pay 70% of phone price to fix it.

I own a Redmi note 8, my friend got A30s..I did a quick comparison few days ago, here is my conclusion.

Display: S.amoled on A30s is definitely better because of punchy display but belive me you will be seeing the pixels due to low resolution on the A30s. This is not good for someone like me who reads a lot using my phone, This is why i didnt go for mi a3 initially.

Camera: A30s camera is lagging behind for both front and back camera.

performance: A30s is slower due to sd450, note 8 is very fast due to sd665.

build quality: Note 8 has it.

A30s NFC, Indisplay fingerprint, the battery also is not as good as rn8. Also i couldnt do screenshot on the A30S, Both the 3 finger swipe and volume down+Powerkey was not taking screenshot. Maybe will be fixed in the next update.

Xiaomi phones are reliable and durable,I've been using mine since January last year and it has ZERO issues..

xiaomi makes excellent devices no doubt. Blackshark series, K20, MI9T, pocophone F1 and others but I can't just see myself using one. Brand name apart Sammy or NOTHING!
