People need to educate themselves.

South Korea has had at least 2 major respiratory disease outbreaks over the last 2 decades - the SARS and MERS epidemics and a couple of others.

They made their mistakes then and learned from them.

There is a huge difference between the response of the SK government and that of the US government in handling Covid 19. They both got their first confirmed cases on the same day in January 2020. But while the Americans ended up with a botched government response, the South Koreans immediately began testing tens of thousands of people per week. So far, nearly 400,000 people have been tested so far in South Korea - with less than 200 fatalities. The country has thousands of units of testing kits and PPE kits. The public immediately took to using face masks, gloves and practicing social distancing. Throw in a reputation for discipline and public order and it shouldn't surprise anyone that their containment policy has worked.

And that's why they can afford to hold elections in these difficult times. Will Nigeria learn anything from these people - lessons for now and the future?

Your guess is as good as mine.

BTW how many people have Nigeria tested?

It's like one country in Southern Africa that didn't record any case, then people become curious to know how they were successfuly fighting the virus only to found out that the country didn't have the test-kit

Haven't you read news where people died at their home and Nigerian government later discovered that the people had covid19? It happened in Delta and Katsina.
There are more cases like that that's not recorded.

Brazil have done over 63k test while Nigeria is still around 2k

Stop deceiving yourself.

You Muslims and Christians 1st claimed that God was punishing China with covid19 for trying to checkmate religious groups

you right...both countries are perfect example of development

no meaning natural resources but they develop themselves. Netherlands had small land mass and population of 17m but his the world second largest exporter of agriculture product plus South Korea that has one the most destructive war and was tormented by Japan many years but they still develop them

On what basis then do you wish to compare your 3rd world environment with theirs?

They've been producing things that you wish to acquire for years.

Rather than concentrating on finding solutions the Nigerian youth is more concerned about politics or conspiracy theories.

By the way, your country of 200 million cannot achieve much with 2.5 million barrels of oil.

You as an individual must take charge of the situation and produce something whether for your local community or for export.
