This sh!t is supposed to come in 2022 and 8 might be 2024 (if the world doesnt end) and you still believe that sh!t? Give me a break.
Welcoming new gamers is no excuse to keep remaking all your old games. That's one of the most stupid reasons I've ever heard. Just make a 2-minute cutscene and that takes care of it.
If they keep doing this the will over-push their luck, you'll see.

I think fans contribute too. There are endless ideas out there. They just need to hire somebody. But, fans get stuck in nostalgia and keep pressing to have more.
Say for example if a remake flops badly NO DEVELOPER would ever try it again. But, people buy so... as the popular saying goes "if it works, don't change it"

for next generation not to be like early PS3 and Xbox 360 era that was remaster of good ps2/Xbox games
