Will Nigeria Ever Become A Developed Country? Nigerians Share Your Views. by Nobody:
Hello guys
We all know the difference
between developing and
developed countries.
Many have been outside
the shores of nigeria, and have gone to the western
world.
my question is,can our nation ever be developed?
Is it possible for nigeria to have a good transport system, constant power supply, security?
Can it be a place that is filled with GOD-fearing
educated people?
How is this possible and how can it be achieved?
Share your views nigerians.

Of course! Making public offices unattractive by significantly reducing the salaries and perks of presidents, deputies, governors, senators, house of representatives, ministers...Introducing the death penalty for any public officer holder(s) who is convicted of embezzlement. Returning back to region system of government so each state of the federation would use 60% of incomes generated for its development. Honestly, Nigeria can become great again IF our leaders/ politicians really want it to.

China was once a ravage city dominated by illiterates, but look at them now, they are about taking over the world.

Nigeria cannot become a developed country because of the following issues, which can be fixed: religious differences, greed, nepotism, stupidity (Illiteracy).

Or

Development can happen when Nigeria gets divided to several countries: Nigeria, Oduduwa Republic, Biafra, Niger Delta Republic.

The truth of the matter is that Nigeria can never fully develop as long as we have this present 1999 constitution. Some of the things that can facilitate growth and development are in the exclusive list. Examples are (power generation, distribution and transmission. Sea port, airport construction, mining (coal, iron, tin, gold etc)
Police

This means that only the central or federal government can legislate on the subjects in the exclusive list. Interference of the regional or state governments on matters in the exclusive list can be declared null and void and unconstitutional

I understand how corrupt, inhumane our leaders are. But most of those leaders/officials are still people who got into their current positions with a stupid crooked mindset to loot, spend in an inappropriate manners, to deprive others what they deserve etc

Our leaders/top officials are products of a failed system.

I don't want to talk that much before some confused individual who is against the gospel truth quotes and blast me. The main problem is oppression by some hausa and Fulani individuals. They use your coal, oil and steel and many more but you don't benefit from theirs. It pains me more when i see emirs and sultans have oil wells in these same places. They have oppressed us and thrown us into a big pile of poop and i don't blame them because they have used we southerners to enter and manipulate us. In essence the main problem is selfishness which leads to greed
