My iPhone 6 battery life has been shit/disastrous since it got lower than 81%.

Always shutting down. If it was around 70% when it shutdown ,if I switch it on there’ll be only 10% left and I won’t be able to use it before it shuts down again.

Does this mean an iPhone battery is practically useless the moment the battery life decreases to 80-81%?
Did you buy your phone new

Please the way my iphone8+ gets hot while charging it can boil yam..i have to put it inside the fridge sometimes, and the battery doesn't last anymore even if i press it or not it all started after i updated the phone ... please what can be done P.S the battery health is 87

Despite this...i still experience shutdowns

The only time I now enjoy this phone is when the phone is plugged into a charger/being charged.
If you disable the peak performance. it will slowdown the phone power.
Just look for who has iCloud lock phone and change the battery

Chai,experiencing same thing with my battery and the battery health is currently 79% too.

Seems once iPhone battery gets lower than 81% it becomes dead.
Which dead. Ask urself, did u buy the phone new
If the phone still has follow come battery, it will still be working
