Over the years, Nigerians have been directing their frustrations at the government. I am not writing this to excuse or absorb the government of its faults, inadequacies and insensitivities, but to expose who the real enemies are.

Before I start, lets admit that governments of this world will never change. Lets not waste our time on criticizing them.
COVID-19 pandemic has exposed some Nigerians for who they really are. I will try not to mention any name, but I expect my readers to place the pieces accordingly.

Number one mistake these people intentionally made was to donate to the government instead of the needy. A Government with access to foreign donations USA, EU, China, IMF etc. These men of god (I am using a small ‘g’). Because their attitude is not Godly, not christlike and does not represent Christianity in any form.

These shepherd do not care about their flock. The tithe and offering they contributed over the years, when they are hungry, their MOG donated them to the government under camera with publicity instead. An irresponsible government that diverted lion share of COVID19 relief fund to Katsina, one of the least affected states and neglected Lagos, the epicentre of the epidemic.

Kudos to wema bank and Celestial church of Christ (The list may be longer though). Wema bank was seen packaging bags of rice instead of donating to the government. The church instructed all its branches to feed their congregation.

These categories of people are Churches/Men of God, Political aspirants, Banks, Billionaires
1. Political aspirant: This pandemic is an opportunity for them showcase their willingness to help or love for their voters. This is the best campaign opportunity. When you feed the hungry, they will never forget you. One Presidential candidate donated 50million to the government, whereas with just 3 million, you can buy truck of bags of rice branded with your pictures and campaign name, taken to Agege, Ajegunle of this world and share. These hungry set will never forget you. How much is 3mil to these politicians? If all them can spend 3m individually and share relief materials to neighbourhoods, there won’t be hunger.

2. Banks: were seen donating billions to the government when they could have run a query to detect active customers with account balance less than 5,000 and credit them with 5,000. This is the most effective way to help the masses.

3. Billionaires: They were busy donating billions to the government to show off. Hungry people on the street don’t even need up to 10m to feed.

4. Churches: I saw my church (name not disclosed) on TV donating rice to the government. On our church whatsapp group, Church members started rebelling, asking questions why they were not fed. The notion, charity begins at home was loosely used by all. The parish pastor who was also on the platform had to calm people down.
These are the same people that will tell the masses to go on the street for evangelism with bathroom slippers. When they had the opportunity to do an effective evangelism, they were busy engaging in hypocrisy. Bunch of Pharisees.

5. Islamic organizations: I have not seen 1 man battalion MURIC donating a cup of garri to anyone. I don’t really know much about Islamic organizations. So I will limit my criticism.

This pandemic shows exactly what is wrong with Nigerian. These elite hate the masses like shiiiits. They are intentionally keeping them poor. That’s why it baffles the world to know that an oil producing country is the poorest country in the world.
Ladies and gentlemen, Nigerian problem is wickedness. Even churches hate their congregation. They only need them because of their tithes and offerings. This pandemic has taught me a lesson and my perception of Nigerian Churches has changed for ever.

It is worthy to note that Winner chapel donated ambulance and medical items to the government. That would be helpful. But donating cash and food that will be channeled through backdoors is a total misplacement of resources.

I am not a hypocrite. I am doing my part. Although, I couldn’t afford more than 1 2 3 4 thousands, at least I have helped like 10 people in the past few days.

Its really annoying. Christianity these days have nothing to do with Jesus.

Churches are just worldly associations

Only fools believe in this modern day pastors...... They are all business men and will use whoever makes himself available.
