I do experience it too.

Especially when I am dreaming when I am falling from a height.

I believe due to fear of falling, the mind subconsciously alert the body to be prepared for an impact.

This is wrong.
Your heart can't supply enough electricity like a defibrillator, The pace maker or SA node isn't powerful enough to put you in a state of electric shock.
A normal heart produces around 1 watt of electric current which is equivalent to 100 volts.
A defibrillator produces a stunning 200-600 volts.. possibly more.

So what you're saying is very wrong.
It has nothing to do with low blood pressure if not we wouldn't only be experiencing it when we're about to sleep.
We would experience it while awake too.

I experience it too, just that I start hearing noises in my head, it happens whenever I am sad and drift off to sleep (light sleep) just to forget my sadness.
