As expected a masterpiece like this will have bad reviews because there are few high level thinkers in the world . This movie did a good job in showing how rapists should be killed. Those KIAs by Rambo were legendary, punisher will be proud.

And another great performance by a marvel actor.

Why so? Because he somewhat presents compelling points. Nevertheless, I do clearly see where you're headed. Religion can only be stupid and dangerous to those who are not conversant with the teachings & wordings of their doctrine.

Religion over the years has been used as a tool to perpetuate great evil, but it all boils down to the individual & his understanding of the doctrine of his or her religion. If you understand the doctrine of your religion perfectly, you can never be manipulated by anybody into using it to perpetrate evil. As a result of your understanding of your doctrine, you ask questions when things tend to contravene what you already know & rebuff any of such teachings which tends to go contrary to what you know. Understanding is the key here.

For it being the final Rambo, it wasn't that different from Rambo 1, 2 and 3. The first Rambo was the best. It showed a prisoner of war at distraught with himself. As they created more sequels, they stopped focusing on his story and started focusing on the high-octane action instead.
Don't get me wrong. Last Blood was mad, in terms of action. But the plots didn't sync. There was little to no background story. At first, he has a foster daughter. Next second, she was tricked and sold into human trafficking. The movie was just focusing on the usual action that was present in its prequels.
For it being the last Rambo movie, fans were expecting some insight on his life. You know, before the Vietnam War and what-not. Instead, they just proceeded to end it, with him being a killing machine that blocked out his emotions till the end.
This is not what we experienced in First Blood .. They never continued on that First Blood path, and that's what made the other sequels mediocre compared to First Blood.
It deserves a 5/10 10/10 .
