So Ghana has lifted their 21 days Lockdown and these are few things you need to know.

The lockdown gave government the opportunity to try to contain the spread of the virus, scale-up effectively the tracing of persons who had come into contact with infected persons, test them for the virus, and quarantine those who tested positive and isolate them for treatment.

Ghana has spent the three-week lockdown to conduct more than 68,000 tests and draw-up plans to establish testing centers in all of its 16 regions. Local factories commenced the production of protective equipment while drone services are used to speed-up the transportation of tests, he said.

Despite the lifting of the lockdown, Ghana’s borders will remain closed. The ban on social gatherings of not more than 25 persons is also still in place.

From what I understand so far people can return to work, taxis and buses will resume operations as well but churches, mosques, schools, bars, nightclubs etc will remain CLOSED.

All these public gatherings are still suspended;

Conferences
Workshops
Funerals
Parties
Nightclubs
Drinking spots
Beaches
Festivals
Political rallies
Religious activities
Sporting events
All educational facilities - private and public remain closed

It will be difficult to ensure social distancing with everyone in the streets.

This is Africa Ghana we are talking about. People will still party in the streets, and they will still fxck prostitutes.
